Hazardous chemicals found in many consumer products in EU
Excessive levels of hazardous chemicals, such as lead and phthalates, have been found in products that are sold to consumers, an EU-wide enforcement project of the ECHA Forum has found. In total 18 per cent of the inspected products breached the EU laws.
