The Hague (and Hague-Visby) Rules, despite coming up for their 100th birthday, continue to provide many problems still requiring solution by litigation. Following a recent decision on the time bar of Art.III.6,1 we now have a significant one on the package or unit limitation of Art.IV.5 of the Hague-Visby (though not the Hague) Rules.
