The Origins of Illegal Charters: Imperfections of National Aviation Laws
Having provided the background to how aviation law developed –within international aviation forums and conventions – we can now understand precisely what domestic aviation law is all about and what it is designed to achieve. It is scarcely within the scope of this chapter to enumerate in detail all the national aviation laws adopted in any given country. It may be said generally, however, that almost every country has laws addressing the issues of general aviation, certification, and the illegal chartering as the type of unlicensed activity.
