Standard-setting: primary financial statements


At its November board meeting, the IASB reviewed the results of research done by the staff into the need for a reform of the requirements for presentation of financial statements. Staff said that their outreach suggested there was support for developing the requirement for the main performance statement, and to align the operating section of the statement of cash flows with that of profit or loss. There was little call for any change to the balance sheet.
