THE YORK-ANTWERP RULES 1974. (As adopted at Hamburg April 4, 1974.)

The following Resolution was adopted unanimously at the 30th Conference of the Comité Maritime International, held in Hamburg from April 1 to 5, 1974:—
The delegates representing the National Associations of Maritime Law of those States as set out hereunder (x):—
  • 1. Having noted with approval the amendments which have been made to the York-Antwerp Rules 1950 and which have been incorporated into a revised text of Rules to be known as the York-Antwerp Rules 1974.
  • 2. Recommend that the York-Antwerp Rules 1974 should be applied in the adjustment of general average claims as soon as is practical after July 1, 1974.
