Advocacy fees for case settled on the day
Mendes v Hochtief (UK) Construction Ltd, QBD LSG 4 May
A claimant whose case settled on the day of trial was entitled to recover advocacy fees. The recorder had been wrong to say the claim had been settled before it was called on for trial hearing.
