LMA REVEALS SUCCESSFUL ELECTION CANDIDATES
The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has announced the four successful candidates in this year’s election for membership of its board. Jonathan Butcher, chief executive of Novae Syndicates, and James Dover, group chief financial officer of Tokio Marine Kiln Syndicates, were elected to the association's board. Also elected were Cathedral Underwriting managing director, Lawrence Holder, and Andrew McKee, chief executive of MS Amlin Underwriting. They join the LMA board with immediate effect and will each serve a term of three years. Neil Maidment, chief underwriting officer at Beazley, continues as the association’s chairman. Elections take place each year when one-third of the board’s elected members stand down. This year, six candidates stood for four vacancies. Voting closed on May 5.
