AIR LAUNCHES HOSTED CLOUD SOLUTION FOR MODELLING PLATFORMS

AIR Worldwide has launched a hosted cloud solution for its catastrophe risk management platforms. The AIR Cloud will allow firms to conduct their analyses remotely, with more than a dozen companies up and running on the cloud. The solution allows firms to access AIR’s Touchstone platform. Earlier this week AIR revealed to Insurance Day it was planning to expand its offering in southeast Asia, with new typhoon modelling capabilities for Guam, Macau, Saipan and Vietnam. Vietnam and Macau will also be served by new earthquake modelling capabilities, alongside Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei and Malaysia.
