Volkswagen questioned over UK compensation

Volkswagen has been called on by lawyers currently investigating legal action on behalf of thousands of UK Volkswagen owners to confirm how UK customers will be compensated. This was after reports suggested that Volkswagen had reached a deal with the US government and private lawyers to pay more than US$1 billion (£700 million) to compensate Volkswagen owners in the US.
