WILLIS NAMES BROWN HEAD OF ITS US PROGRAMMES BUSINESS

Willis Towers Watson has named Stacy Brown as president and chief executive of Willis Programmes, the group’s US programme administration business that operates in 36 niche markets through more than 4,000 independent agents and brokers. Brown will be based in Denver and report to Tom Coughlin, national partner at Willis Towers Watson. He succeeds David Hampson, who retired earlier this year. Brown has been with the group’s Freberg Environmental Insurance unit since 1998, serving as president and managing director for the last seven years. “We are thrilled to have Stacy lead our programme business and build on the success we have established in the marketplace,” said Coughlin. “He brings tremendous credibility and deep industry experience to this role.”
