Cooling reinsurance buoys Lloydâs again

Conditions for reinsurance business worsened for companies and Lloyd’s last year but results suggest the market still has some fat in it. Reinsurance continued to be the main component of Lloyd’s healthy return in 2015, producing an underwriting profit of £904m ($1.3bn) or 51.5% of the market’s total of £1.75bn.
