IRONSHORE NAMES DESANTIS AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF WRIGHT & CO 

Global specialty property/casualty group Ironshore has named Anthony DeSantis as chief executive of Wright & Co, the Delaware-based programme administrator that provides professional liability and employee benefits products to law enforcement personnel, national security department employees and other employees of the US government. DeSantis will oversee Wright’s direct-to-consumer platform and the growth of its small-to-medium-enterprise initiative. He joins from Zurich Insurance Group’s Farmers Insurance subsidiary, where he served as president of personal lines. Prior to that, he served as president and chief executive of 21st Century Insurance until its acquisition by Farmers and served with AIG for 20 years.
