US state Oregon unable to regulate GM crops
US state Oregon’s Department of Agriculture (ODA) lacks the authority to
regulate genetically modified (GM) crops or to collect data needed to map where
GM and non-GM crops are grown, Agency director Katy Coba wrote in a letter sent
this month to Governor John Kitzhaber.
