USDA drops GMO rule over confidentiality concerns

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has pulled the plug on a rule that would have made it easier for the agency to share confidential business information about genetically modified organisms (GMOs) with states and tribal agencies, our sister publication Agrow reports.
