1 ISSUE OF THE IN REM CLAIM FORM, SERVICE AND ARREST

1.1 ISSUE OF PROCEEDINGS

In rem proceedings commence1 by the issue of an in rem claim form as set out in CPR Part 61 rule 61.3 and the Practice Directions (PD 61). Admiralty claims start in the Admiralty Court of the Queen’s Bench Division of the High Court of Justice (rule 61.2).
