Fraudulent Insurance Claims Rhys Clift, Partner, Hill Dickinson 1. Preamble 1.1 This main subject of this paper is fraudulent claims on marine insurance policies under English law. But much of which I set out below is equally applicable to all types of insurance. I will address the general shape of English law with regard to fraud in the presentation of insurance claims, and the way in which the law works in practice.
