Surprise move by appeal court in Venezuela war risks case

In the case of the B Atlantic, the UK’s Court of Appeal ruled on Monday 1 August 2016 that standard war risks policies do not provide cover for vessels that are found to have been involved in drug smuggling, even if involved fortuitously.
