FASB issues principal/agent Update
One of the implementation issues arising from the converged revenue recognition standard is guidance on determining whether an entity is acting as a principal or an agent. The FASB has now issued a definitive amendment to Topic 606 Revenue giving more detail on the issues to be considered and including more examples.
